The last and final type of design that is created by Italian designers is known as Haute Couture. The term 'Hate Couture' basically means 'high end clothing' in French. In today's world though, this term has taken on a totally different meaning which is high end clothing. A single Haute Couture design by a well known Italian designer could put you back anything from a few thousands of dollars to a few hundred thousand dollars. Some Italian designers exclusively create these designs for individual customers using individual measurements so as to ensure a perfect fit. For this type of design, the cost of the material as well as the time taken to manufacture the piece is irrelevant as the fit is of the utmost significance.
